Makaia is almost 14 months old. We took our 1st family vacation to Disney and it was absolutely amazing. Makaia had a blast and we ran her so much during the day she would just crash at night. We went to all of the parks and rode a ton of rides. She was such a trooper. She is at a good age where she was up for anything...the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, a safari tour, and a behind the scenes backlot tour at Hollywood Studios. As long as she was able to ride the ride we did it! She was scared of Mickey, Minnie and all of the characters, except piglet...and I think that is because she always snuggled and slept with a piglet when she was first born.

Wow- things are going so fast. We went shopping today for Makaia's 1st pair of tennis shoes. She has just starting walking (just a few steps at a time) within the past few days. We found some really cute pink Nike tennis shoes and some awesome brown and purple Timberland boots for winter.

She can say several words...mama, dada, nighnight, no, hi, ohno, more, utoh...

We are planning a trip soon to let her pick her 1st Halloween pumpkin. Carving should be a treat. Speaking of treats- Makaia and dad share quite a few chocolate treats. It's kinda funny that Jeff now has to share all of his chocolate.
