It's hard to believe that Makaia is a year old. It seemed like forever waiting for her to come into our life and the 1st year just zooms by like a flash. The theme of her b-day party was Sesame Street. We had a cook-out and lots of family and friends joined in on the celebration. She had her very own cake, but of course when you want them to dig in and make a mess they don't! Any other time she would have cake in her ears and running down her legs...but no. The pics with cake all over her face are because her auntie put it there.
