Let the crawling begin!

Today Makaia is 10 months and 1 day old...and today she officially started to crawl. She has been scooting and moving, but today she got it all figured out. I wanted to cry when I saw her crawl across the room. Mainly because it is such a big step and partly because I realize how much more difficult motherhood will become. Here are a couple of new updates on Makaia:

She loves to mimic everything. She loves to dance and laughs all the time. She is so over baby food. Now all she will eat is stuff that she can pick up and put in her mouth. She has 2 teeth peeking through in her lower jaw. She loves cheese and didn't seem to care for mommy's tofu chicken. She seems to really like green veggies...especially green beans.
